Google Apps Enterprise Deployment Engineer –CHENNAI INDIA

As an Enterprise Deployment Engineer you will work with enterprise customers and pertinent third party consultants to implement enterprise products. These products encompass all Google Apps Solutions, including Google Security and Compliance offerings and other open source(Linux) related implementations.

Our ideal candidate will have a wide range of web application development skills, with a minimum of 3+ years of professional experience building consumer-facing web applications.

• Good understanding of relational databases (MySQL, etc)
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and anything related to web development and related technologies
• Working knowledge of Javascript, Ajax, and JS Frameworks (jQuery and/or Mootools)
• should have experiences with developing of webapplications, using technics as MVC, Ajax and Soap
• Experiences with Linux of Unix server environments a MUST.
• Excellent oral and written technical, business and user communication skills in ENGLISH.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills, is detail oriented, and capable of working cross functionally
  within the organization.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Excellent problem solving skills, particularly with regard to anticipating and solving problems, issues, or
  concerns before they occur or become critical.
• One year experience in the technology industry, either in corporate IT, professional services, consulting
  or product development.
• Working knowledge with Cloud Computing and Messaging or Collaboration Solutions (SharePoint, Lotus
  Notes, Domino) would be big advantage.
• Proven ability to design and develop reusable/scalable scripts and tools.
• Ability to keep pace with rapid changes in Google enterprise products.

Responsibilities:
Assist sales team and third party consultants, if appropriate, to present business solutions/configurations to the
customer during the sales cycle.
Engage with deployment project managers to provide clarity on business deliverables and milestones.
Configure products to deliver business requirements on a timely basis
Assist in transferring technical and functional knowledge to customers to ensure smooth and orderly transition
from deployment phase to ongoing production. Requirements:
BS Degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.
